As an international network university, Freie Universität Berlin frequently welcomes international guests and groups of scientists who would like to learn more about Germany's higher education landscape and the structure of FU. FU employees will adapt and test their own modules for field or project-specific presentations within the framework of FU's seminar on presentations.
Learning objectives
After the course...
- you will be able to present Germany's higher education landscape and that of Freie Universität Berlin in English and answer questions from guests,
- you can communicate with international guests with ease,
- you will possess vocabulary concerning higher education landscape and research facilities (university external facilities), e.g. higher education structures and committees, financing, governance, structures etc.,
- you have given a presentation in class and have been evaluated.
