Contents
The workshop focuses on individual funding, especially the Research Grant (Sachbeihilfe). In addition, the Walter Benjamin, Emmy Noether, and Heisenberg programmes will be briefly introduced. Collaborative programmes such as Research Training Groups or Collaborative Research Centres will only be touched upon briefly.
Key topics include:- What funding formats are available, and how do I find the right one for my project?
- What (formal) requirements do I need to consider when preparing a proposal?
- How do I structure and formulate a convincing application?
- Which costs are eligible and how do I calculate them correctly?
- What evaluation criteria does the DFG apply?
Methods:Presentation with practical examples, open Q&A session, and group discussion.
