Working Globally: English Skills for International University Cooperation (B2-C1)

• Discussing key principles for successful international communication
• Reflecting on common challenges in international meetings and developing strategies to address them
• Practicing language for dealing with differing viewpoints and diplomatic coordination (e.g. UNA Europa working groups, research consortia)
• Strengthening interculturally aware and professional communication in meetings and everyday coordination
• Using clear and confident English when presenting research, institutional initiatives, or project results to diverse academic and administrative audiences

After the course, participants will be able to:

• apply principles of successful international communication in academic and administrative contexts
• identify and evaluate common challenges in international meetings and develop strategies to address them
• demonstrate diplomatic language skills when coordinating with international partners
• present research or institutional initiatives in clear and confident English to diverse audiences
• reflect on intercultural aspects of their communication and adapt their language use accordingly
