This workshop focuses on the EU’s current Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe. It introduces the main participation rules (Who can apply?) and explains the political context (How is a framework programme developed?). Selected funding lines such as ERC, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, and collaborative research programmes will be presented, taking into account the participants’ specific needs. Using examples, the structure of a proposal and the evaluation process will be discussed, followed by an introduction to the Funding & Tenders Portal – the European Commission’s electronic submission system.
