Contents
This course systematically deals with key language for constructing effective and convincing business correspondence in English. It includes basics, such as opening and closing formal letters and emails, giving information, making requests and arranging meetings. Some general grammar will be dealt with, for instance verb forms and punctuation. Part of the course will follow an interactive task and discussion based approach. It is particularly suitable for learners at the lower-intermediate and intermediate levels (B1). The course will focus on the needs of the participants who are encouraged to bring examples of their own work to discuss and examine in class.

- know how to use salutations and closing formulas correctly in letters and e-mails,
- formulate information, make inquiries, submit complaints and arrange appointments,
- have the grammatical basics for error-free correspondence.
