This class is designed for those who would like to improve, review and build on their understanding of the English language. This is a compact course that is intended to reboot and refresh an existing knowledge of English. Carefully planned lessons will focus on elements of comprehension, reading, writing and, above all, speaking. Speaking activities will be used to promote fluency and confidence, as well as a better understanding of English and its common usage. In these speaking activities, corrections will be used to foster accuracy and clarify misunderstandings.

Requirements
- knowledge of English to at least B2/C1 level
Contents
- clustered vocabulary acquisition from topics introduced in readings and listening activities
- clarification of common language usage in teacher-guided lessons
- contrasted verb tenses to make clear distinctions and practice in class
- functional language in writing and dialoged role plays
- extended speaking activities to build confidence, maintain accuracy and find vocabulary or recall previously learned vocabulary

Methods
This course is an intensive course and is based exclusively on communicative teaching and learning methods.
